Drakes are a fictional sapient species mentioned in the novel The Wandering Inn.
Description[]
Drakes descend from the larger, more magically powerful dragons. However, in spite of being related to them, they have little in common with them. They look humanoid, walk on their legs, and have the height similar to humans, though they tend to be a bit bigger. Drakes have an ancient rivalry with lizardfolk, and calling a Drake a "Lizard" is a great offense.
